| These are a few intaglio prints from a series of works using "chine colle" images of found ephemera. The etching plates were worked with the result showing some of the earliest known patterns made by man. Collages of ephemera were transferred to Japanese papers and treated on the reverse with methyl cellulose before the printing process. The images represent layers of time, place and memory and the emotional connections within them. Each print is a unique image and no editions were made. Approximate size: 4 x 5 inches. |
